The West Maui Beach Access Database was developed in response to community complaints regarding limitations on the public to access beaches and the ocean which are owned in trust by the State of Hawaii for the benefit of the people of Hawai'i. The database is hoped to be a repository of public information regarding all shoreline property in West Maui.
The Database can be accessed on the Parcel Index page.
The Community Fund would like to thank the Maui County Planning Department for their assistance in locating many of these historical records.
The Database is "inchoate," meaning that it is not complete. The community is encourage to provide corrections and additional information regarding the information provided in the Database by e-mailing the Community Fund.
